Unfortunately it won't look that good in the game, texture budget is killing a lot of the details :( AFAIK they have 1/4 sized normal and spec maps... -

Very nice! Right now he is looking a bit plasticy I think. Could have a lot to do with the hair and the amount of spec overall. -

Are any of you turning off "Use Fresnel" in the Vray material reflection attributes? It seems that the gloss and spec properties really show when this is disabled. -

Your metal is reading off flat and plastic-like. I'd work on your spec for the metal. And your beauty shot....looks awfully familiar. -

Little more progress on the textures and lighting setup. SLowly adding spec maps, making second passes on the base colors and adding decals, etc. -

Yeah the big difference between the asus and the dells in these specs/price points are the stands and connections, with dells being much better there. The panels are likely the same. -
