I recommend getting 2009 if you want the shadows working decently. They instantly crashed Max 2008 64bit in my case (32bit worked but they're just plain flakey)

I usually work with layers in ZBrush as a non-destructive workflow. But I would like to be able to erase sections of a layer, not the whole layer itself if I need to. How can I do this with Morph Targets...I think theres a way. Can I store a morph target on each layer?

hello could you please explain to me how vray displacement mod works in 3dsmax? when i import the mesh and apply vray displacement mod nothing happens.
