My 5 year is comming up real soon, I'm looking forward to it. Alot of old friends that I haven't seen or spoken to in those 5 years. I still try and stop by at my HS once in awhile to say hi to my old coaches.
The art looks decent, but the gameplay looks really really old. Im into side-sidescrollers kinda, like master blaster was my main man, this looks like a cross between Kid Niki and Strider... Which is fine, strider was a fluid game, but it just feels old?
I stopped to update Zbrush for quite some time ago because usually it's nothing useful, just some crazy weird modelling tools nobody use really and nothing for old same core limitations. Also old useful scripts/plugins stop to work usually. Does anybody follow Zbrush and could tell if there is anything worth downloading…
Hi! Looks like a cool project! I think proportions/anatomy don't quite match up with the concept and the stylization falls short in areas in terms of boldness (hard-surface parts) and definition/sharpness (folds). I recommend breaking down/ inspecting the concept in an image editor to get a better understanding what…

I'd keep in mind that while UVs need splitting along hard edges, edges at split UVs…
Tha had me laughing for a while lol good point. Heres the million dollar question however, Should I go over old work to perfect it as much as possible or should I soldier on to make new stuff to replace the old?
Made a sculpt of an old man today. I've been spending a lot of time studying the skull lately and I found that looking at references of old people was a pretty good way of seeing where the bony landmarks are as well as some of the facial muscles.
mxdirector: I have a really old set of rigs for UT3/UDK for Maya here. The set includes both the character, first person rig and an example weapon. It is pretty old and simple though ( 2008 ), I hope it's enough for your needs.
Sometimes I have the same problem. What I do is draw the edges before deleting the old ones. Or you can use the old split tool: Object mode, SHIFT, right mouse button, Split, Split Polygon Tool.
Sorry to necro an old thread, but this forum post is the first result in my google search for this exact bug. Have there been any developments on squashing this bug? I just made the jump from old nDO and 3DO was the reason why. lol.
