Came across some Elysium concept art earlier this week and had some free time so I decided to take a crack at modelling the Rotor Drone from the movie. Took a few creative liberties. Not sure im 100% on the final colors though. Let me know what you guys think.
Hey folks, wanted to get y'all thoughts on interesting and part time jobs that might be good until an artist can land a studio gig or a contract. I'm kind of working my portfolio but I have bills I have to pay, so I was hoping to get some creative ideas.
From developers to retailers, this is what leaving the European Union would mean for one of the UK's most important creative industries - http://www.wired.co.uk/article/uk-eu-referendum-games-industry People of the UK and expats, you have got to get out and vote this week!

Hi! Everyone! Hope you're good, here I will upload every work progress, open to constructive comments and everybody is welcome :) (sorry about my english, I'll try to explain myself as clear as I can :P) Let fantasy and creativity do the whole work!
In AAA, there are so many people on projects that there is sometimes a bit of struggle to find a nice niche/role, or to have creative input on the project. In indie it's usually the opposite...there are so few people that everyone is covering as much as possible, and wearing multiple hats is very common.
I think this is why: http://digital-photography-school.com/forum/general-chit-chat/209875-get-creative-suite-cs2-free-adobe-pc-mac-legal-serials-included.html As for use on commercial stuff, it seems like it would be OK, why not?
Great little videos Joe. The retopo stuff is great learnin' and the lunchtime doodles are fun creative exploration. Curious about the material you're using though, I can't seem to find any matcap materials that are that good for allaround sculpting. Mind sharing? :)
Well done! Looks like the little learning collab with Hazardous & others went swimmingly. :P I'd love to participate in a creative learning experience like that sometime... I really like your style for Samus' face. Keep up the good work!
