Is a 3 Cell animation on a 512x256 ok?
The studio is making an isometric/dimertic game (my first iso) and was wondering if anybody has some experience with this. The image is actually 3 different states of an object. So, 512/3 = 170.666666666. Is it ok to make the cells 170? Oh, the engine were using is Torque2D in case it matters. -

Hi Zander, I brought the full Autodesk educational suite for £105 from the escape studios website, It doesnt run out but it's only available in the EU on this site (not sure where your from) but i'm sure you could find it elsewhere if you're not, anyways you can find it here cheers! -

I've just finished retopologizing some sculpted curly hair. That took me about 3.5 hours to get to the final polycount of around 1700 polys. That's an extreme example since it was retopo'ed from scratch without re-using bits of a base mesh. It also doesn't have a nice regular surface so most of it was done painstakingly… -

The T-meter down the street reads 105 F (low 40s C) midday and 100% humidity is pretty much a given here. The sweat beads on your forehead about 5 seconds after leaving your AC'd sanctuary. Give me dry heat anyday... -
