Yeah the details are just from a bump map I have applied to the model after some UVW box mapping. The welds are a bump I created applied to a strip of polys and the signatures are on a plane with a translucent texture. MAGIC
Hello there, this is my first experiment ever with textures in 3ds max, and I cannot figure out what's happening here: this is the 3d model with the texture and this is the texture I applied I simply added an "Unwrap UVW" modifier and then I applied a material with that bitmap as diffuse color. I know the live boolean, but i dont quite understand how to apply a boolean without using dynamesh? "b" substract "a" with boolean, but how can i apply boolean to delete "b" without dynameshing it?
Unless you are getting something crazy going on with it applied to the mesh, the bake looks absolutely fine to me. Are the bolts on the HP normal 5 sided nuts? need pix of the HP, and the low poly with the Normal applied.
What does the model look like in engine with a dark ish grey diffuse and a medium high spec and the normal map applied? There is something very wrong with the bake if that is the normal map applied to the diffuse in the lower picture.
I remember reading that all updates apply automatically to wordpress.com. As a matter of fact, wordpress.com is being continuously updated all the time, whereas wordpress.org needs to save up all the updates to be applied at once, like this.
