Hey guys! here is a sketch that represents what I'll be aiming for the overall design of the character. I'll make some changes to the design on the go most likely. So let's jump in the blocking stage and make some 3D!
Its coming along but you need to do a lot more anatomical studies to get a firm grasp of the basics (its a neverending journey.) Just keep sketching loads of facial anatomy (2D and 3D) and you'll get there!
well of course people are combining tools in the process wherever it makes sense. 3D painting works great for some things, for other tasks photoshop or even more specialized sketching programs or a compositor might be a better choice.
hey dude. good to see you pumping this shit out! in your sketches you tend to make the profiles very flat. this isn't a problem in your 3d, though. watch out for that next time you're doodling.
You're Fine art section looks a bit like sketchbook pages, i'd just call it 2-d or traditional art. Also, i'd drop the low-poly knight, it looks like a quick sketch in photoshop.
I completely forgot to cite Ted Naifeh's sketch. It contrasts what we know about Killer Croc in a very nice way, but his description of the character is completely on point. Regardless, looking forward to your progress.
I think this will mutate to some kind of Sketchbook. I still hope for critique and advice though. Dayly Sketches 18.7.2011 1) Posemaniacs, not sure if thats the right approach, maybe I should go more basic.
Well I'm doing a superb job of keeping this up to date, here's my latest animation for University. I'm still playing around with it and could use some feedback on it please. https://www.syncsketch.com/sketch/113455#121997
