Keep going, this is a great start. Look more closely at the second reference, how the inner Y shape works, where it goes into the top of the ear, and how it has an underhang on the left. Also it would help to make a rudimentary head to attach it to, so you can create the back of the ear. Indent the ear hole too!
New update on the blockout for the columns, went a bit further and actually kind of starting to really like the direction. Next step is some tweeking on the top and bottom of columns and start on the wall section.
This is the first character for my game demo. It's the first time I model something for a video game (I come from VFX). Next step: UV unfolding, which is something I actually love to do. Sculpting, then textures and look dev. After this, let's see how it moves in Unreal.

Hello everyone, I would like to share the final results I got on my model here. Could you give some technical and professional feedback on it? I want to have something relevant for industry standarts, but I find it hard to know what they are. I work part time and I get around two to three hours a day to study and practice…

Most of what I learned comes from people I know, and what I learned when I worked at Larian Studios, from the other technical artists there. But mostly, creating complex materials is about logical reasoning: thing of every pixel as a mathematical value, and think about what your operations will do to that value. A helpful…
