Very nice work people so far. New to polycount and decided to enter this little challenge. Just blocked out the two major structures and did a test on the fabric as a proof of concept. Rendered in unity3d Learnt a few tricks through this challenge already which is pretty nifty!
Hi all, What are the correct settings for getting normal maps from ZBrush to Unity3D? I tried to go with just green channel flipped, but my test object just doesn't look right in Unity. Is there something else that needs to be changed before creating the map? here's a screenshot:

Next piece of the puzzle: Unfortunately I have only a free version of Unity3D (the game engine I use) and it's without real-time shadows. So, no shadows for now =) Also I have changed colors of the chest (several times already), but it's still looks quite bad =\
@PolyHertz Thank you so so much for responding=) . Im using Blender for 3d and unity3d for game design. May i ask what you mean by bend over the face? Like i create an plane mesh and draw the eyes, or do i draw directly on the model?
If you're using 801, you'll want to enable "Save smoothing groups" in the FBX I/O options. It breaks Unity3D's importing of normals if it's enabled (issue with Unity's importer) which is why it's off by default. Other than that, you shouldn't have any issues as far as I know.

Anyone got any tips for sword steel in unity3d? Black damaged steel out of ddo looks amazing, sword steel is amazing in the ddo viewer but black ib Unity. What do you guys use to get a good result: cube maps, special shaders? Thanks in advance. Cheers
