Quick question - Why is it required that final render is made inside real-time environment? Its not really accessible (Marmoset Toolbag 2 has 30 day trial, but i could only scam it for 30 days), and it requires potentially work outside of the field of 3D artist.
30" and 20". turn the 20" display by 90 degrees, and it becomes the perfect extension for the 30" model with the same vertical resolution. nice :) tablet, gaming, all no issues. Displayfusion is nice though. Biggest annoyance is that the colors don't entirely match, but for that its best to buy identical monitors
Someone showed me this a few weeks ago: http://www.graphicmania.net/30-stunning-3ds-max-character-modeling-tutorials/ 30 3DS Max character tutorials all in one place - some are classics. I won't vouch for every last one of these but there's some good ones.
Hi SpeCter, That all sounds good to me. The 3 point shader should be fine... For the 30 day zBrush trial, you'll need that program for more than 30 days, as it's used for most of the course content. If they made a 6 week trial version, you'd be good! :P
I have a 24 inch at home, and thought it was good. But at work I have a 30 inch, and now when i sit at home it just feels soooooo small. The 30 inch has a nice refresh rate, and I think they aren't too bad for the price. Spark
Oh good lord yes, seconded ten million times. I did net-30 right out of college and had to chase the guy around for an extra 30 days to get my money. Never again! Funny enough, at the time I was a desperate graphic designer :poly142:
Not sure if it's ok to post these in this thread. Found them over at NeoGaf and to be pretty inspiring. They are colorized photos from America in the 30's and Nazi Germany in the 30's and 40's. Emil what time are you showing up? Work has a Scotch club from 5:30-6:30 so I might not be able to get there for right at 7. If you're aiming for then let me know and I will tell them to expect a handsome young Australian.
spent an extra 30 minutes to get some eyes in there, I think its time for me to move onto the next model. Time spent on this was 3 hours 30 minutes across 2 days from a sphere any critique is welcome, may help with future sculpts :)
the dell 30" keep going down in price, they're $1,274.00 right now... which... lol for a 30" monitor is total steal! by far the best upgrade i ever got for my computer, this thing is HUGE!!! http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/produ...mp;sku=222-0863
