update, working on lighting, slow but steady - i think it's getting better, anyway tomorrow i gonna start making the robotic arm, after that i gonna make a generator, and after all that i guess i will continue lighting the scene
How did you do that? When I unwrap the same mesh the UVs get all distorted. The problem is I don't want to separate distorted faces, I want the UVs to be continuous and not distorted at the same time, like FrankPolygon did.
when i was 15 and started modding for a game. posted my mod on some forums, and everyone told me it was shit and terrible. that motivated me to continue modding to prove them wrong and after a year i fell in love and kept doing it.
Thanks for feedback! I have 3 types of sand and i really forgot about another rock near rocks, thanks. But i think, i won't continue working on this scene, i need to go forward and learn other stuff.
Today is day 2 of week 2, where I'm focusing on forearms, but continuing my study of the hands. Bones come tomorrow, though I'm most looking forward to muscles and tendons, since the arms are really something when it comes to that stuff.
Your textures seem a little blurry and lacking detail. They don't seem very sharp. On your next project I would focus on using your UV space as efficiently as possible. It's something I'm continuing to learn how to do well.
here is as far as I got with this CM Set , il make a thread to continue this at some point if anybody has some crits, the cape and weapon(not pictured) are still very WIP at the moment. Congrats to every one who finished on time
Need more geometry : One loop at the back to support the internal cut for the hammer channel. Two loops along the length to support both sides of the slide, you can also change the flow of these to be one continuous loop like the front on the back.
Skinning is super busted but this is to get an idea of what I'm going for posing wise. Going to continue to tweak pose and skinning. Hair normals busted after skinning but i'll fix after skinning is complete as well as cleaning up the hair cards.
Alright so I changed the direction of the twisted metal and cement to try and look less random, and more like something exploded on the bridge. Im posting this in hopes I can get some feedback today while I continue to work.
