Crashes on all L4D2 models, no error message :E E:/ Seems to be that L4D2 weapons have the IDST1 header, so that might be why.

yeah it seems to me a max display error.. I got it to display properly after messing around with the settings with Gamma on, just annoying

I have tried increaseing the lightmap resolution it seems to make the shadow errors appear more and create loads of shadow patches on the mesh.

i would take screenies with some specular applied, there is no way right now to know if your edges are fine or if there any smoothing errors.

Yes I will, the polygons that are causing the smoothing errors are the 90 degree angles, they are unavoidable. Only thing I can think of is to chamfer the edges...
