Increase TO 100% if no change. MULTIPLY BY 100% is no change. Multiply by 50% halves the result. ADDING 50% takes half of the original number and adds, so, 150%. ADDING 100% doubles it, ie - 5(100%) + 100%(5) = 10(200%) 5(100%) + 50%(2.5) = 7.5(150%) -

For your budget I think this is very good idea. The 20 d is a great camera :) About the shutter count on most cameras needs to be replaced near 100 000 but some are more and some are less.
