Hey folks!
I lately got inspired by
this thread.
Since dota2 brought me to the model buisness, its just fair to give something back.
I realized that it is very helpfull to make real lowpoly models to keep the shape in mind and to really work out the points of interest.
It doesent matter waht the sculpt looks like.
Sometimes it doesent even matter what the textures and maps look like.
Shape!
I started this thread because i kinda like the idea to start making the original models of the heros as low as possible, maybe even stylize them.
If anyone is up to do such stuff, your very welcome here.
Since i started on kida i first want to finish her perfectly.
After that i think i will be around here very often.
We could also suggest to valve to makte that stuff like tradecards ingame.
Maybe free cause its just training and exercise but would be fun tho to have a "chibi" like version of your fav hero.
Anyways,
enough written lets get to the wires.
have a nice day
