PureRef is amazing for piecing together references. Not only can you drag and drop images directly into it from the browser, but you can then save out the collage as an image file. Word sizes its images relative to the page size, using the DPI setting stored in the picture. But most CG images are automatically set to 72 or 96 DPI, which makes them print pretty large (and blurry). Best bet is to reset the images' DPI to 300 before loading them in Word. XnView can do this in a batch, so can Photoshop.… -

I don't think your thinking about PTex quite right. automatic UV's dont come into the equation. the data is stored as thousands of images, each image represents a quad or 2 triangles. there isn't any empty image space. and texel density is defined locally on a face by face basis. Ok, after doing a little experimentation, I found that a PNG image sequence with alpha on makes the image really dark. When I turned off alpha, the PNG looked perfect. I tried the other image formats and found that only the PNGs had this issue when using alpha during an animation sequence. I'm wondering if it's just me or… -

to stick all the images in a single movie clip you will have to stick every image on a seperate keyframe. So push i think its f6 when you select the number of frames you need, to turn them into blank keyframes, then copy and paste the images into each frame. Yeah i just tried it and it exports.
