this is a bit dangerous, as we might end up with tons of clones. i am not sure it is that good for creativity. but it could be very helpful for production. in any case, it is a great initiative! very well done!
Uvdeluxe has a pretty nice straightening feature. Although not exactly like that. It's available on creative crash. Pretty good all around script that adds a lot of uv functionality that should be in maya by default
our own blankslatejoe talking about his xp with solo developing his game Tower of Gun. Some good info http://www.gdcvault.com/play/1021895/Creative-Corner-Cutting-Tower-of
I personally don't want to be a rockstar. I just want to be some sort of inspiration for others to embrace on with their own imaginations, or creative passions. To be a rockstar is one who works for the fame & profit, not the love of it.
Good stuff you got going on there!...some real creative texturing, and they look all so different...my favourite has gotta be the version on at the bottom right of the page...Excellent stuff tho'....
yeah questions like this really seem to give me the impression you don't have any creativity or drive to design your own or even look for your own reference. Thats bad....
I played paintball with 140ish people 70vs70ish, it was awesome, and yesterday I was on a party at the beach filled with Swedish girls, all for the sake of work and creativity! I should get another raise *sigh
I'd focus on specializing rather than generalizing and stick to a particular set of skillsets such as vehicles, weapons, environments or characters. The site personally is a bit messy and hard to read although creative. Good luck!
Hey Everyone! It's been a while, but I just wrapped up a new interior and would love to see where I can improve. Thanks a lot in advance everyone! Based (with creative license) off of this concept (not credited to me) -Eric Kilkenny
Oh I didn't know you opened up the source code to all. I assumed it was just like UDK. That is even more awesome! Hope it brings out a ton of creative possibility.
