Student licenses (which I have for both Max and Maya) are non-commercial only. So if I wanted to sell any model I made I would have to fork over 4100 bucks (or pounds, I'm in the UK atm, they really get you coming and going) for Maya and Mudbox. It's my primary reason for learning Blender at the same time. -

I am also a student - so wouldn't really know. But if you look at where the bar of quality lays, for getting a job in the biz, the company would wait a year to get you! :P That bar, you passed it like a year ago. No but seriously. Now that Autodesk owns everything they need to just converge it all into one so that we don't have to worry about converting files and getting things to work in one program as it would in the other and students can learn easier and we can stop paying for multiple programs and we can stop having this same fucking debate… -

Jeah thats because he didnt had any nails on his feet Iv made nails on his feet and made 4 finger ( he had 3) Also the nose is updated want to make some fur but I dont know whats the best way bump mapping ore some plugin (thats free I'm just a student) -

Nice work, especially for a student reel. I would maybe consider cutting Hawk since he seems the weakest of the lot. Did you create hirez models to generate your normals ? If so, I would consider tossing in some renders of the high rez models or if you created the normals in PS, maybe consider showing your bump maps. -

Alex, I also wanted to say thanks for pushing me so hard. I do listen and I can take the heat, alot of students depend on me to get it right here, so that I can transfer what I know to them in the game club. So I am excited that you are happy with the update...I will keep them coming. -
Freelancing with pirated software
Has anyone ever run into issues with this? I intend to get all the software I use eventually, but I cant use student versions anymore since they've either expired at this point, and don't allow for commercial use anyway, and I need to earn some money first before I can afford any software I need. Any chance this could come…
