Wait, arent you doing undying in his ultimate form, maybe risings tomb between them? Then again whole thing might get too complicated with adidtional multiple objects. Anyway, undy wins early game, ls easily does what he wants when he gets few items.
Why arent you using Holeinthewallhosting.com ? $19 a year. A YEAR... I know people who pay £20 ($38') a month until they actually listened. It's also offers some of the most comprehensive server side functionality via Cpanel, that I haven't seen since the studio i worked at paid £280 a month.
good effort, some crits: the street or floor texture does seem rather bare, more like a wall texture or something, I would have expected cobblestones or something brown and gritty for the floor. The scene doesnt seem to have any normal maps or specular or they just arent showing because of the flat lighting?
sprunghunt: I definitely agree, thanks for that reference! It helps a lot! Jeremiah: LOL no they arent photoshoped in but yeah I will have to see where I get that ambient occlusion in UDK. mystichobo: Totally agree, I think once I add curtains, and fix lighting it'll be better! Thanks guys! I appreciate it!!
Hey! I made a compilation / showreel of my work over the three years, there are a few modules that arent included such as design documents and scripting that i never got round to recording, but here it is, hope you like =] [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ChCUYuTm25c"]Renn Farnell - Staffordshire University ShowReel…
What software are you using? This more looks to be straight forward if you arent picky about the polies, perhaps beveling those hard edges and creating extra geometry around the end of the pipe might help out. Also the base needs to be beveled =\ Over all for a low polycount worth of scene this is an amazing idea.
The real thing is. Don't let it bother you, you're an artist you're here for help and to show your work. People arent always going to post on your first post. But keep doing it, you'll get better and better. Just keep it up and keep posting. Hell, I found it and posted! Good luck!
No Vig, I havnt tried this before no. I just gave it a go and i think that it worked. Im certainly not getting what i had before, the black and white splotches... Im guessing im not getting much detail in the AO simply because the details on the high poly model arent that exaggerated? or is there a way to boost this?
Sorry for the late reply im so busy and yes its that line which goes all around to the head here is the texture diffuse map Edge padding ... i think that`s it right ? but edge padding and Ddo arent good friends right ? sorry i`m new to these stuff obviously
Well I can already tell youve put a lot of thought into the texturing, it really shows. However, things are kind of blending together. I think this could do with some light atmospheric fog. I'd also boost your spec and normal maps because they really arent coming through
