A hey to everyone, As you might see this is my first post and project in this Forum. Just short this project is going to be a highpoly render and hopefully a game character in the end. This is the first sculpt of the head, still need a level of detail, but it will be postet soon. Critic is more that welcome, thx.
Hi guys, This peace will be in for my Portfolio.:) :) Currently I'm in the low poly and texture phase, and I'm lovin it so far, any critique is welcome. :) Note: This is an older version of the highpoly. The current Version will follow shortly. / High Resolution Images on my Blog.
Hi all! I decided to take part in Unearthly Challenge III. My chosen element is bone and the focal point will be a bone ship. Here is my moodboard. And here is a blockout: And here is also a highpoly of the bone ship. Hope to get some crits and comments :)
How about some pictures. A: of your original problem B: of the remeshed model Also you could add what you want to do with the asset. If it's a game ready model a remeshed object is probably too highpoly, yes.
Little Update : Sorry i have a lot of work this last 2 weeks and i haven't worked on this scenes ^^' I have finished my work on the LowPoly/HighPoly/UV of the pipe and the door. See you next time !
The texture is definitely better then the version before, but the blue parts still look odd to me. Maybe making the blue parts darker in the diff and get the blue more from the spec would help. Your HighPoly is really nice.
I'm guessing you aren't getting those edges baked nicely because the angle of them on the highpoly is too close to 90°. You gotta ease those angles so they slope down rather then go straight down.
Ah, a mythical triple-post, incredibly rare compared to the regular post or even the relatively uncommon double-post. Joking aside, it looks like a good start. Are you planning to make it a game ready model or "just" the highpoly?
@CrazyYuan Thanks for the comment :) Day 30! Dragon eye (3hrs) Decided to have some fun and experiment with highpoly sculpting and polypainting. I've never really done creatures before but this was a lot of fun. Gonna have to expand on this in the future.
- Eat3d ones I pretty good for getting up to par with Zbrush. - 3dmotive has some nice 3ds max highpoly tutorials with texturing. Just check around Gnomon, Eat3d etc and see what interests you :)
