TLDR: What would you be using to make a personal library and timeline with all of your art, including the really old stuff? ---------------------------------------------- I'm a 3D Artist and I'm looking for a social media platform that I can use to upload everything I have (that's not under NDA) chronologically. I like…
PSD file doesn't help, using a gaussian blur does though (the image above has a slight blur, the one i just did from a psd file didn't and the triangles visible were far more defined). Is it anything to do with how the tx file is created, are there any options for controlling that? Also, I use black and white images, are…
I have some new in-game material to show soon from a milestone I reached in the last week of May. Until I can get some images from that though, here are some WIP images of the train station from 3ds Max and some small (and very rough) in game images:…
I don't really understand your question. Do you mean a pro or someone just starting out? Many people work from just one image. Orthographic front/side can be nice too. I always gather lots of other reference images as well. For this kind of project, I would get images of real women, cartoon women, clothing, pose ideas etc.
1) Use IMGUR to post images INTO the thread instead of a link to the image, named from the Windows Snipping tool. 2) Use Zbrush to capture the whole document window in the Document window. Your image is supeer low res. 3) What are you using for ana anatomy reference? Your anatomy is off at an initial read, but I can't tell…
I would suggest as an alternative moving the text description of each project from the front page onto their individual page that opens up when I click an image. So on the front page you have a list of images with just their project name and you can click an image if you want to find out more. You keep the text, and you…
This ^ Don't use code to scale your images.. make small images with Photoshop and link them to big images. edit.. the chains on the train.. either loose them or edit the alpha. In the material properties in UDK there's an option called "Opacity Mack Clip Value" its in the "Material" drop down.. play with that a bit. and…
Guys, I decided to start working on final images. Have spend some days playing with colours, but nothing worked on my head...and still liked the first variation. Lately I wanted to make a beauty image of Twitch, in context....in the sewer. So I recreated the scenario in Max and play a little in Photoshop. Hope you like it.…
Is this the image the appears in the output window when you render to texture? Max pops up a window so you can watch it render in real time, but the image that appears there isn't the baked map. In fact its usually not useful at all. The actual normal map image file should end up at whatever location on your drive you set…
