general texturing-uv question (game assets)
Is it ok to have "one mesh" and two materials (and 2 uvs oc)? One mesh like merged together on the edges. Like "Head + bust" is one mesh, and this mesh has 2 materials and uvs? Is there a nogo for game assets, in any way? -

Thanks for the kind words 8-Bit and Zeldrak :) I'm getting everything into the scene first then i will adjust all colors ect and change the textures to fit better as a whole, i will push the contrast! gogo! :D -

Holy fecking Jesus on a Pogo stick! Guys! Imagine if this was applied with a synthetic gel mask, with fiber optic light points as cover on your face! You could literally create a digital mask! Holy feck! -

Sally A-16 (Personal Project)
Hey guys, this is my first post here. =) This work is based on a model made with Lego called "Super Krieger: Hoken". I made this in Maya and Render in Marmoset Toolbag just for presentation. I did the maps with dDo (for diffuse) and nDo (for Normals). Feedbacks and critics are welcome. :) -

Haha, thanks j_swan! I'm basically done modelling the next hardsuit in the Bubblegum Crisis series, Nene's: Will UV her up, pop her into ZBrush for a highres and get her textured before too long... gogo! -

Right but i was aiming the comment more at the fact that you dont need to merge the verticies or do UVs after you make the pieces, just make your single lego piece, texture it, the instance it throughout the scene. -
