also it seems that most normal maps didnt even have a highpoly source, the sci fi would definately benefit from it. keep working on it, i see great stuff coming from you :)
After having reletively low expectations for d3 and it just barely meating them i was really pleasantly surprised with how good hl2 was, definately the best game i've played in a long long time.
I would define it as If you don't bring in at least some of your artistic touch, then it's not art Similar as you would say a person putting a paper over another artwork and tracing it exactly Leonardo did definitely add a lot of his own touch into his paintings, and a painting always has a lot of artistic choices…
I am getting this error: # Error: file: /Applications/Autodesk/maya2016/Maya.app/Contents/scripts/startup/AniDeformationsMenu.mel line 30: NameError: file <maya console> line 1: name 'maya' is not defined Anyone seen this before? fixes?
Hello Polycounters, time for another part of my military Project. This time it's an Helicopter, finished the HP and LP and started with the texturing. This time I want to define the materials first and than get into the details, like scratches and such. HP LP C&C is always welcome :)
just Recently purchased a Wacom Tablet and have decided i want to get into character design so here is a early stages T Rex I have been Working on. Just trying to define the shapes and forms at the atm for a good base to move foward
Hey guys and gals, working on a bow for clinkz, below is the concept images, and a current hi-poly wip. Already gonna alter and improve the grip and straps to look a bit more defined and less "fluffy". Any other critique would be great!
When I try using panel loops with the default settings I end up with a gigantic mess. I start with a dynmeshed object, use the slice curve to define a few poly groups, then hit panel loops. What can I do to fix this?
Assuming the problem is the artefact on the flat side part you need to sort that ngon out. The mesh is being triangulated in an awkward way at bake time so if you explicitly define edges that won't happen.
Not a likeness pro but I would say the forehead maybe too large, as well as the cheekbones being too defined - looks more male than female right now. Cloth looks good though :)
