low poly, this is not. is it really based on a sword? looks like lego. My advice is to do a few maya tutorials in low poly modelling, really find out the difference between nurbs, quads and so on.
this is looking great! personally I would add more strands and layers into the hair to give a bit more depth. I think if you keep it as one shell it tends to look like lego hair
i thought that they were on the upswing when they realized that they couldn't make the best games, and so went out and started getting other devs to make their games for them. Ala KotoR and the Lego games. Guess not. :(

You and me both, Pogo. Love DS2, and i really like where they're going with bloodborne, no sword and board anymore, just fast action. Will it get ported to PC eventually or is this a PS4 exclusive?
You did a really great job, still don't like the hair...can you try using planes ? Because you can see like a lego (only one part), the rest is amazing
Is it ok to have "one mesh" and two materials (and 2 uvs oc)? One mesh like merged together on the edges. Like "Head + bust" is one mesh, and this mesh has 2 materials and uvs? Is there a nogo for game assets, in any way?

Holy fecking Jesus on a Pogo stick! Guys! Imagine if this was applied with a synthetic gel mask, with fiber optic light points as cover on your face! You could literally create a digital mask! Holy feck!
