To harden or soften the edges, select polygons in your drop down menu on the left. Then: Normals>Soften Edges Normals>Harden Edges

Typical gun models are 2000-6000 triangles, and use normal models baked from a high polygon with hundreds of thousands of triangles.

i did know that! presumably this plugin only reduces 10% of your mesh's polygons, the other 90% are the ones who do it

@Luk0 you can select the polygons you want and Ctrl + D to duplicate it. Then just animate the visibility, translation, rotation, etc.

That would certainly be nice. That's the only thing I really like about Zbrush over Mudbox (that and the HD-polygon thing ;D )
