      I've done the Maya AO bake in Maya 2008 just this week, and it's easy as 1-2-4, uhm 3. No but seriously, it's easy. :)

      meh, gave up on maya again, if pure animation is your trade animate in maya, if you just need to get by, use biped in max and edit some free mocap. The latter is working pretty well for me!

      i noticed that too. If I move maya to the 2nd view the right click menu disappears as well. It seems like since the 2nd view is an extended desktop, maya probably is only designed to run on the primary desktop.
