~ I was making a sweeping statement, so yeah I do agree with you. I just mean that most if not all courses teach you so little its kind of ridiculous. You get more from google really, so I consider most ex students I know pretty much self taught.
College level anatomy course....with cadaver dissection videos! http://www.med.umich.edu/lrc/coursepages/m1/anatomy2010/html/musculoskeletal_system/introback.html You may wanna skip eating lasagna same time you watch the vids. Its not all dead stuff they have I think a student volunteer undress and do the living anatomy…
Ok obviously guys as you can see, I'm not a expert. I'm a student, and I'm willing learn everything that I can to improve. So if you want to help me, I'll be very glad. HP LP My HP is based on the LP with support edges. What's the best piepeline ? Should I remake another LP ?
Hi there! I recently graduated from college, and reading over the post a few times I didn't notice any mention of being currently enrolled. Is this only open to students, or is this a more open internship opportunity? I'd really like to throw my hat in the ring if I could. Hope to hear back about this soon :D
No problem, I'm a student working through a lot of this stuff also, and I definitely understand. Modeling is a lot of fun, but there are just so many things to understand about it that only comes with experience. It doesn't hurt to pass on info that I have learned in school and from other sources, for that is how we all…
I was sad to hear this news yesterday and am grateful to see it posted here this morning. Kris was a student of mine and I was always in awe of his work ethic and positive attitude. I'm certain he'll continue to be a positive force once he recovers and urge my fellow artists to support him to any degree that you can.
I've gotten that feedback from other students too. The idea is that the mushroom has taken control of his body, so I figured deemphasizing the face was appropriate. Maybe I should push its values even darker to make that read, unless you think having a clear read on his face is still important?
Sure. You get what you pay for. I am sure there are lots of willing students/beginners that would do it on the cheap. Prototyping early and iteration is very important so I am glad to see you are thinking about it. EDIT: Dustin nailed it. It may cost a little more in the long run but it's totally worth it.
I'm interested in helping out on your project. I'm a recently graduated game design student that is looking to get some experience and expand my abilities. I use 3ds Max for modeling and I have basic knowledge of a few game engines. If you're still interested let me know at incognito52268@gmail.com. Thanks, Incognito
I love this thread. Here is a cross post from my sketchbook thread that I just started the other day. I am a high school student wanting to attend gnomon and I am working on traditional skills now so this thread is perfect. Here are some portraits, gesture drawings, and random sketches. Crits Welcome ;)
