Syndicate didn't flop because of the genre, syndicate flopped because it was poorly made. I played it and it's obvious the team behind it had no idea how to make a first person shooter. A bad game is a bad game regardless of the genre you release it in. -

Can anyone please confirm/deny Tomtegubbes claim about bad anatomy. Ofc it isn't perfect and the armor is somewhat problematic anatomy wise, but I don't know if it's that bad, that I should be sculpting a nude figure (again) to make it right. -

Gradients aren't bad if you have your model setup properly so it still looks good. Having lots of UV splits costs extra memory - which is bad. Although this example is a pretty simple model. -

The bedroom and newsdesk images look like they were made as 2D vector art in Adobe Illustrator. The castle fireplace looks like it was made as 3D art in Blender. I think people hate anything Microsoft, actually no some of their stuff is a bit bad, but some of it is not that bad. People just seem to love to bash them. Things could still change quite a lot before release. -

The armor looks really good! Still the face needs more love, it's too bad because it makes the whole character overall to look, not bad, but not as good as it could with that awesome armor ^^ my advice is to use reference for the face
