My old work sucks. Lets fix this. The first one hot off the presses. Also bonus: Made a new sketchbook thread, with a stupid amount of drawings in there. http://polycount.com/discussion/171857/sketchbook-muzz#latest
Hi Guys, I've not done a huge amount of 3D lately and I'm getting back into it with some Dota items. To start I've made a set for my favorite hero, Broodmother. Any crits or advice on getting the set into the game is appreciated. Cheers!
Considering the amount of Substance users on this forum; is there a online help explaining specific tools within Substance ? Otherwise maybe someone can explain a few tools for me; as I don't use substance and don't have any plans to learn it.
Rework the models. Yeah, most of the poly count came from the bamboo. After taking those out and just using plain cylinder to represent the bamboo it reduced the major amount of polys.
Yes, if anything UDK's lightmap creator is okay at best and seems to break a model up into an unnecessary amount of pieces. Making it in Max gives you 100% control and will create a nicer result.
Your image isn't working :-) the model I am doing has a large amount of details on the sides which will make it less simple for me. I gguess a challenge is good sometimes
I'm in the process of setting up the scene, so much more to do and so much more I want but I have a feeling I'll be cutting out a large amount of stuff :(
I would be very very interested in knowing this as well. I like your theory, and since they do use a crazy amount of blending in their environments which makes stretching less noticeable.
obviously no two women are the same but with the back arched the ribs do tend to push out a little depending on the amount of arch. Also the top row of stomach muscles will tend to flatten a bit.
I don't think they are preparing to be bought out, being EA they will lay off a bunch of people, announce how much money that saved and then buy another social games studio for that amount.
