Your walls are very noticeably tiled. I'd work on that. Floor doesn't look too bad... Though gets monotonous. Then again, you are in the beginning stages of texturing, so I can't say too much. Continue forth
I would continue exploring your options until someone offers you a job. If several offers come in, take the best fit. You might be able to play them off each other a tiny bit also...
the epic saga continues... I tweaked the wood a tiny bit but I think I'll just have to redo the wood from scratch. Got the bell dirtied up, I still need to add bolts to the iron bands
damn i didn't know that... what should i do? stop this project or just continue until i hear something about it. it's just for personal purposes, not going to sell it or anything... well thanks anyway for pointing it out!
I talked to the maker of this app. Export options are coming soon and he's looking at exporting for 3D Coat, so you can rough out your voxel model on the road, then continue working it when you get home.
my 2nd try, this is fun! whipSwitch>wake>gauss>ivars>CW sorry if i am ruining your stuff, it feels quite uncomfortable at the moment but it is fun so I will continue, the loosening up will do me good!
Update! Been trying to take these crits into consideration, especially concerning the front of the building. As you can see the back is a bit further behind. I'd appreciate any further Crits as I continue to work on this project. 2048x2048 diffuse:
quick question I've often wondered about, http://www.pixlode.com/upload/578d_swordhelp1.png for the handle, I was thinking about making it a seperate element. Is this bad practice? should it be once continuous model or is this a good way to save polys?
Also, continuing on sectaurs' post, he does look generic. His face is reading very ape-like (a lot of interpretations of Cronus have that going for him though, so that's not too big a deal)..keep working at it though.
Apologies for the late update. My PC had another major issue and is currently in the shop getting fixed. I don't know when it will be fixed, but once it is I will continue on my project. (6/20/21)
