Hi there man ! When it comes to the next step, I think that just "working on one's portfolio" is a bit of a blanket statement ; after all, putting in the hours doesn't necessarily guarantee results. Therefore I'll try to keep my suggestions very focused and practical. One thing you could do would be to look at your own…
There is a fort named after her in outland, not sure if it was named after her after her disappearance or before, so maybe in something like that. Or if you are interested in modeling a troll Berserker next maybe make a diorama based on this concept art by Chris Metzen for WCII [IMG]http://www.polycount.com/forum/<a…
For polycount to become more popular it would need to use the approach every other forum board uses and not just target game art. I do a huge amount of Visulisations at work targeted towards marketting and can be anything from robots to cars or arch Vis sets... But I can't post this stuff here as it's not the logical…
***Slaps himself for not posting this before I did all the morph targets*** I cant change the head now or I'd have to redo all the morph targets and Im too lazy for that now. I bought this facial animation book a week ago and I got this head already modeled rigged and blend shapped up. I even created an interface in max's…
Hmm. Can't say I've ever done that. I just look at the model as I'm going and add/remove detail depending on the target polycount, the type of game setting (cutscenes? closeups? if so, which body parts?) it will be seen in. Usually if I finish a model, and it equals the target polygon count, then I'll look at the mesh and…

We're looking for a VFX artist to do several effects for a Unity game. We're offering $1,500 for the work. First things first, we need someone that can work in the new LWRP in Unity as we switched to that recently. When we did several of our old effects have broken and we need them fixed before we get into new effects. It…
That is just how this works, you can store a morph target after dynameshing it and use morph brush to bring back flat area and manually smoth the surronding area. Another way is to make primary shapes using boolean in blender then small details using live boolean feature, making a low and high poly version out of that.
it's a little convoluted but here goes. on the target object (the one you want to align to) add a custom attribute from Animation::Parameter Editor... called vert make it of type integer, ui spinner, from 1, to 999999, default 1, width 64. Press Add. now select the aligned node. in the motion panel select the Transform…
