Depends on the engine, but shared stuff on one map usually works best. Also 4-bit is quite low, 8-bit is fine as well, but then again it's a side-scroller remake thing. -

I would consider HL2 out of date. It's over 5 years old which means when they sat down and actually dreamed up the specs, it was 7-8 year ago? -

Success! Thanks again Piflik and others. I will post a rendering here later on! The last step would be the addition of limits for the cylinders. Max 8 seems to have a much easier approach. -

megawad = a full 32 levels replacing all of doom2's maps. I miss REAL episodic games, that last a good while and being replayable, i.e. 8-10 levels. -
