I added a new generator, with the default mask builder applied. It's pretty obvious to me that there is a procedural grunge effect build into the generator but I can't find where that is. I'd love to swap it out for a different procedural or at the vert least alter the scale/ position.
When I try using panel loops with the default settings I end up with a gigantic mess. I start with a dynmeshed object, use the slice curve to define a few poly groups, then hit panel loops. What can I do to fix this?
Howdy! This is more or less my first time posting and first time participating on the polycount forums! So many great choices, but I think I've finally settled on doing a redesign of Jayce's default skin. Wish me luck!
I'm going to be remaking the default skin for the fabulous knight of fabulousness, Taric! And since nobody gives half a crap about an art thread with no art, behold my mediocre concepting abilities and weird preliminary Zbrush bust! Crystals on crystals on crystals, bitches!
Awesome ! Thanks a lot for your answer, it works well, I guess it can replace the "." entierly ^^ (ah yes it looks like it's by default on alt+middle mouse button :o )
Much better! Maybe find an actor/model with simmilar features? Or if you have done it already, share with us. Without photo reference it's easy to fall into 'default face' pit.
This is how i adjust ao from marmoset for painter. I'm using centimeters as default units in marmoset. The difference is not so big in bakes. SP bake has more contrast
sweet. new one. :D is there a way to keep "Retain Component Spacing" on by default.. always. for UVs. i dont know why in the world anyone would ever want that off..
Looks like a nice start. Any idea for the lighting? UDK's SSAO is horrible by default, I'd tweak the parameters for that, at least for final renders. Looking forward to the texturing though!
"Auto receive input" is probably disabled. Its disabled on all classes, except character by default. Click on class settings on the top, and type input into the search on the details panel, then enable it.
