I'm going to be remaking the default skin for the fabulous knight of fabulousness, Taric!
And since nobody gives half a crap about an art thread with no art, behold my mediocre concepting abilities and weird preliminary Zbrush bust!
Crystals on crystals on crystals, bitches!

Isaiah Sherman: Probably not, but I like to keep the dream alive.
Mushed around a kinda blobby blockout for this. Going to have to redo those shoulder pads; they look stupid as hell. Eh, whatever. I needed something to sketch over the top of anyway.
Chronicle: Yep, I definitely need to change his face. That was a quick first stab at something, but I'm probably going to just resculpt the entire thing from scratch. I want to go for a bit more of a pretty-boy look than what I currently have.
Did a pretty rough paintover of the sculpt. There are still some things I'm not super happy with, but I think it's at least a decent start. I really need to revisit the shoulder pads, so I'll probably steal some design ideas from Monster Hunter or something.
Not much to comment or critique on, just happy to see Swizzle arts!
Whew! Haven't had much time to work on this for the past few days, and I'm probably not going to be posting many updates between now and the beginning of November. I'm gettin' hitched at the end of the week and then spending a week in the Bahamas.
Anyway, worked a little on the concept. It how has less metal dong and it will have more loincloth/tabard/whatever. Going to be blocking some stuff in a bit more soon and playing with 3D shapes.

I was thinking about doing some crystal formations, but I'm not certain I could pull it off. I think I'm going to try to do more cut crystals/gems since he's supposed to be the "gem knight" anyway.
Haven't had time to work on this over the past couple of weeks since I had a wedding and honeymoon to attend. However, I got some really good feedback from some friends and I've revisited the concept to try and make it a bit more consistent and generally less awful. There's a reason I'm not a concept artist.
I think I'm going to actually start working on the model in earnest now; I'm pretty happy with a large portion of the stuff in the concept and any changes I really want to make are fairly minor.
But your version looks very promising already.
Good job, Keep it up!
