Try and re-define the calf muscles at the back of his legs, they look exagerated. If you want to create a really defined calf muscle make sure the rest of the leg compliments this look. Got any close up renders?
It's a bit early yet for detailed comments, but the leg/body joints should be ball & socket joints to match the concept. I think you also need to look more closely at the cylinders forming the legs, especially the rear pair.
I love the face. Probably would go better with a legging bottom. Top is great on the costume. If you did a legging you would have to make a pretty female lower half to counter the strong face. Great stuff.
Cute little fella. If you want him to look more like the realworld Kangaroo rats, you'll need to shift his ankles further up his legs so that his legs are a bit shorter and feet are bigger.
Mop i see whatchoo talking about on those chin bits. thinking it just needs more refinement in that area--not entirely sure how far along it was then. hehe as per the legs--is this a big better on the front legs at least?
Now seeing it, I noticed some serious improvements, but I'd say really tweak up on the legs a bit to make them feel less like bags and more like muscles. Like the transition from the knee to the leg.
nope: This quote is beginning to get a bit stale (its more fun to keep things moving), so here's another quote from the film: "Inside the dusters were three men . . . Inside the men... were three bullets."
Hi there, I'm attempting to practice my rigging with downloaded models online. Luckily, this model I downloaded had a skeleton included, so I'm practicing creating my controls. I was trying to set up my IK Handles for my legs, but whenever I do, it moves the leg bones out of shape. Why is that?
I literary just mean sharper more high rez edges, it looks a bit fuzzy/blurry. like you applied a subtle Gaussian blur on everything. and now that Muzz mentioned it, the feet and legs are a tad weird. like the placement of the feet and the back leg look short.
You're right, passerby, I don't need to merge everything. I just learned that I can import all my individual sub tools and low polys in their respective slots and bake out occlusion that way. But merging visible worked so thanks to both of you for that.
