as others said hard to tell with the lighting setup where the detail is (unless your latest post includes an image in which case the image is not showing) There is a really big pinch above the windows in the first image and the silhouette of the hull is quite jagged.
ok odd question I have a image that is pixeled based I want to make this be a main caption screen, now the issue is I cant seem to keep the image to scale without having it blur out, is there a way to do that? like I want a certain image to stay at a size stretch and keep anti alising off?(or on I forget which?)
Hi guys, I'm new to lighting in UE4 and was wondering if the community would be of any help. I am currently working on this scene for a college project and would like my end result to look similar to the image below. The first image shows the progress of my current scene. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Image…
Alright, this is probably something simple but i cant figure it out. whenever i insert an image in to a plane, the image only shows up in the perspective view point. e.x. I Created a plane, in the front view, and inserted my bitmap image as the material. But the picture doesn't appear in the front view only perspective!…
Not sure why the images still aren't working after doing all that crazy stuff!? Use imgur or photobucket to host images > Use insert image icon in polycount comment box to paste link in. Should be easy and work just like that.
Thanks for expressing interest, here is the process I use for some of my images. Start with rough concept. Model design, using Cinema4d. Tracing! Use wireframe when needed. Details! More Details! Rendering! And the final image. --- Bonus image
@ ZacD, none of the images are really huge, except the background image itself. The images are loading in with a pre-load script instead of having them load with lightbox so there shouldn't be any issues. Is anyone else still having load time issues?
It's a very good sart, I'd say. It's mostly accurate, except for some details. Here are some of the things I think should be revised: 1. Rear sight base. It's a bit weirdly modeled - mainly, the sight elevation slope doesn't look right. Also, you are missing the gas tube locking lever. Here are some ref pictures that…
No, I'm not for sure! May be my words sound like an AD, but I'm just a great fan of this program =) Ok, I spent some time trying to compile a visual comparison of different approaches to imagery downsizing. Here's a test image from free Ornament collection. Original resolution is 1950x1323. I've chosen four areas of…
I also disagree with much of gnoop's advice. Raw is very handy to use if you want to make non-destructive changes to exposure, white balance, adjust noise reduction etc. Maybe if you need 1x1k textures but certainly not for anything large like 2k or 4k. If you need high res, high quality textures, a DSLR or mirrorless…
