Looks like a nice start. Any idea for the lighting? UDK's SSAO is horrible by default, I'd tweak the parameters for that, at least for final renders. Looking forward to the texturing though!
"Auto receive input" is probably disabled. Its disabled on all classes, except character by default. Click on class settings on the top, and type input into the search on the details panel, then enable it.
If you want to use format instead of simple string concatenation, redirect the output to a custom stringStream value (you can cast it to string in the end). The default one that's used is listener.
Oh, fixed it, thanks. You reminded me that I changed my default mesh scale to 16 while following a tutorial, changing it back to 1 fixed it, thanks again.
Yes, in Max. But I not change UV-s, only connect 2 vertex, and remove 1 vertex, and a the projection go to default. Now i try to import-export projection.
Moving this to the Unreal Engine section. Hard to know without seeing the Unreal material. Does it still show when you apply a default material? Also look at the vertex normals.
I asked this awhile ago on the UDK forum and this just seems to be the default behavior sadly. No real fix besides making another prefab instance with the correct rotation to clone from.
Try this, right click on the plus sign in the view port(top left) > configure view ports > Lighting and shadows tab > set the Illuminate Scene with to default lights 1 light.
