Hello My name is Bartolomeu, i'm a 3D Hobbyst trying to improve my skills and at somepoint acquire industry experience and later on develop my own game, i will use this post to track my progress and maybe get some feedback from people here on polycount. Did a new render of this old monster I made awhile ago, I'm trying to get better at Rendering / Lighting concept by Bobby Rebholz https://www.artstation.com/artwork/nJg6N6 Also available soon for new projects
I like it, good style some good humor I think it will turn out great. Right now I think you can do more with the monster. It almost seems like the star of the short yet not a lot of personality is coming across and it seems like you're trying to show a story instead of connect with the audience, you want to do both. That…
Heya, thanks for the replies! Basically, it's always stated in all books about human fear that we fear instinctively the unknown but again, in a study about monsters it is revealed that too astract creatures are starting to become less fear-inducing. I ment to ask if anthropomorphous creatures are the most fear-inducing in…
Blaugh! I'm not sure of the origin of this image. It might just be fan art, but one can hope. Someone posted some interesting speculative info on my forum which was ripped from somewhere else. I shall continue the trend and dump it here: __________________ Little monsters: Many people speculated before the second trailer…
Yep, but my DH deals very low damage, and if at monsterl lvl1 i'm more than one hour... in monster level 5 it takes me ages to kill a elite mob. BTW, me gear is so bad, that i could not create the unique ring, nor kill all the pairs of bosses.
I love these, especially the tongue monster. Only critique I have is that they all look pretty monotone when it comes to color design. You should add more decals/patterns(mönster)/spots etc as well as more color variations on your creatures. Great work none the less, keep on posting!

Necromanceк is baddass but i personally prefer the moster could be less baggy and have more distinct limb muscle. And if your human is slender and have forms tend to length(skirt, hands, hat, skull beard), then the monster could be wide and flat like a кay fish foe example.
Damn this is really confusing. I read a bunch of stuff and yet I wonderf if I'll ever grasp all this technical jargon: this guy here talks about render passes and he shows a pic of em http://www.cgarena.com/freestuff/tutorials/zbrush/monster/monster4.html I see AO,spec, depth, oil.... so these are not texture? They are not…
