Since polycount focuses primarily, though not exclusively, on game art, why don't you first start trying to get a full game character into Unreal Engine 4 or Unity3D?
For anyone using Unity3D I would definitely recommend the tool Fur Factory. You can quickly create fur and then cut, comb and style it! Check out more at www.furfactory3d.com
Hey all, figured I'd give this a shot. Using Max '14 for the modeling, will end up plopping it into Unity3D for the final (assuming we get there). The blockout so far: Cheers.
@stahl Sorry, I've been busy for quite a while. It's for a private project a firend and I are working on. A Coop-FPS prototype running in Unity3D. I'm currently working on the NPC and the Environment.
Coil for the space ship engine room. WIP, 95% complete - need to bounce it against some other minds if you want to give a comment or two. Thanks. Rendered in unity3D with marmoset's IBL.
