The industry is in a super unstable place right now. Sure, games are selling like crazy, but production costs have exploded so much that it’s getting harder and harder for devs to even break even, let alone make a profit. When I go to indie events, I can really see the struggle of these micro-teams trying to make a living…
These are really cool and it's a nice start. Will you be making busts or complete bodies? You should block the clothes in and polypaint those tattoos etc :) Edit: Oh, god. Just saw the title of the post, must have missed it when I wrote the post :( . Sorry!
Since it is just a bust it might be cool to explore something like a nasty straight jacket that has the arms all tied and stuff but then the extra length of fabric on the sleeves kinda trails off into a cool like twisted mess that forms a base for the bust. Just a thought :) .
Hi again guys... These are the sequences "filmed" on the planet's surface... The Landing After to find a nice video background for the landing module. I started adapting the vanishing point of the iClone's camera to create a convincing perspective effect. The composition of this scene is quite simple. Besides the landing…
At first, it seems like it'd be best to do some clay bakes rather than final renders but from first glance it seems like they're good concepts but need some work before you go in detailing the busts. (GN report on Nvidia YT link 2video)This happen & i stopped…
hey guys, I have a question about the new quixel suite work progress, is it possible to add scratches, rust or whatever for details just on specific areas?
gripping stuff or holding buttons is basically the root of most problems so you're probably on the right track @Tits - mapping mouse buttons to keys really helped me . it can take a long, long time for your bits to recover though so you kinda just have to stick it out for a while and see whether it works. i'd maybe suggest…
Im curious as to what happens to a games licence per se, when their developer goes bust? Im guessing the title and names and such are not burned and left in the dirt and someone cant just come along and pick the title up then remake it. For instance, an old game I have lying about is martian gothic, now its developer was…
