PS is nice, but super expensive for only doing sketches. Sketchbook pro is cool, and had a very clean, non-overloaded interface last time i used it. Also look at Krita, which is an amazing full featured painting tool and free. Its open source and developing very quickly
Sure it doesnt beat h3 !! http://www.h3.com/ the best fast food burguer ever , and , surprise, its portuguese only , gourmet burguers on the plate with great homemade fries and thai rice with a huge variety of sauces and types. The lines in these are always huge and they are quickly serve [/patriotic publicity derail]
Luckily Big Ant's Bradman 2014 looks suitably impressive, so I think it'll be forgotten pretty quickly and won't have too much of a real impact on the development scene here beyond 505 and Trickstar. Wonder if Trickstar will change their name again. They must be on to their 5th at this point, right?
Thanks Stevston89. I'm planning on a similar colour scheme, I've quickly tried others but I keep find myself liking the green/reds of the current one. They'll be a lot higher in saturation with some variation and higher definition. I'm thinking a a similar aesthetic to that of a Drell from Mass effect.
so how do i stop this happening? i need to use the exported maps for marmoset so i can get a high resolution render. My normal maps look ok, but everything else looks really strange. thanks for getting back to me so quickly btw ^_^
I'm setting a goal to get this finished by next week, as he's been dragging on for so long. Just need to focus a bit and get it done! Hopefully the spec map i'm workin on will really pop the materials. Going to make him an ale tankard quickly and pose him up drunk :)
Just because a program can do that, doesn't mean you should, I think dreamer is bringing the program to the attention of people for it's layout ability, and wysiwyg nature for quickly creating portfolio websites for people with no coding knowledge. What a person creates comes down to the person, not the program he is using.
Little update guys... worked a couple of hours on it and amongst others: - changed software (da%n mu$£°x) - quickly made hair (let's face it, it has to be remeshed and pushed forward) - reworked some face features One again please leave comments and feel free to criticize :D
The cracks on the exterior one do look a bit odd I agree. I didn't have much time, so they were done rather quickly (and rather cheaply lol). Thanks for your thoughts though, I'm kind of putting this one on hold while I work on something else :)
Alright, here is another walk cycle I did quickly to see if this one is fairing any better. It's not nearly as refined right now but if it seems like a better idea than my first one than I will gladly work on it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tOwqexklCh8&feature=youtu.be
