Well I need to be a full time student for health insurance and other reasons, and my college's animation/cg classes aren't too great. Already taking Sculpture 2, Life Drawing, and Drawing 2, and need 3 more hours... any suggestions? There really isn't anything else art related left besides cermaics and 2D design.
Hey everyone, my name is Tanya and I'm an aspiring concept artist originally from Russia. I've been drawing traditionally since childhood and really enjoy it. Now I'm getting into digital drawing and am trying to pursue a concept art career. There's so much amazing artwork on this site, it's pretty overwhelming. Hope to…
Too few pieces of work to truly gauge, but I would seriously reconsider the style mixes of your Geralt character. The body modeling detail and texturing leans very heavy on the hyper-realism side, but Geralt's face feels like it lacks a strong understanding of facial anatomy and texturing to fit with the hyper-realism you…
So... I read this entire thread and yup, I don't have a facebook so that would put me out of things. (dont like it,fb.) Managed to jump way ahead cause I had the free time and in 6 days this is what I had before I found out things happen. I was still going to go ahead and work on this cause i put a lot of my time into it…
Thanks for the troubleshooting, yes I just did it and it works perfectly fine New scene + High poly GPU Cahce import > Live Surface> Quad Draw = No lag Someone had told me that when they try to Qiad Draw on "Olly_4_7_17_17k_BindSkin" model it also lags for them So it seems pretty confirmed that the High Poly GPU Cache…
Thank you for the reply... With being on the mobile platform I had thought the draw calls of those instances/meshes would be heavier then just a few draw calls for the entire section of the level being loaded in. Thanks for the tip on the enable per poly collision. That is insane actually so it creates that dense of a…
Look at how female fingers trend to taper from the knuckle towards the fingertips. Your hand right now has a boxy shape at the fingertips and the fatty pads are too thick on your model. Just take your time and really observe. Look at some drawing references too so see how they draw hands and you would apply that into your…
In Krita you need to go to and activate the Rotation property of your brush, and make a curve on the Drawing Angle sensor. https://docs.krita.org/en/reference_manual/brushes/brush_settings/tablet_sensors.html Really, "Drawing Angle" is the sensor you're looking for. There's one sensor called "Rotation" but it means actual…
I started with some quick rough ideas about what is in my mind. Usually in personal projects I noticed that I work faster if I do rough drawings, jump in 3d package, block out simples models, make a print screen,go back to photoshop draw over and then this back and forth process works ok in my creative development.
Your observational pieces are quite nice, but it looks as though the folds don't carry over as well when it comes to the character drawings. I'd bust out some cloth and clothing reference when doing illustrations, as it'll make your skirts and things come together really nicely. Also, nice turnaround. Feet are a pain in…
