That sounds more like the definition of "non-planar faces" which is also a cleanup option. Nonmanifold refers to impossible geometry such as when an edge becomes extruded from or welded to a non-border edge, causing an edge to share more than 2 polygon faces. In these instances, such offending polygons should be either…
I got it. It´s like ExcessiveZero said: I have to extrude in. I tried it, and then i merged the border Edges on the upper and lower side. And thats that :D WORKED. Thank you very much people ^^ At the moment im trying to understand the front shape of the slide. its so confusing... But Maybe i will let it so and move on to…
This looks amazing! I don't see anything wrong with it so I can't give you any critiques, the work you put in establishing the form is paying out! If you'd like some suggestions, see how it looks if the arm membranes merged with the neck muscles going upwards and not the clavicle, you could also experiment with sth like…
DeadlyFreeze, thank you so much! I think I tried rolling back to 6.1.5 recently and stopped there ; guess what, 6.1.4 totally did the trick! What a relief ... Its so good to not have to think about that anymore ... (now if only Adobe realized that they should merge ctrl-c and ctrl-shift-c into a unified command, everything…
Look again at the bottom of the legs the metal hoof things are merged into the foot you have them just sitting below them at the moment. Also there is a curve cut into those metal block sections where the legs join the rest of the body I would make sure and add that in will help it look a lot more natural. Nice work so far…
1. Go subdev level1 > use Ctrl+shift (green frame) to hide a part> go subtools /split/split hidden or make ploygroup > split groups 2. make an object dynamesh > append a cylinder > set )( combining mode next to cylinder picture > go up to original dymamesh > merge it down > push "Sub" button next to "Dynamesh"one
Here's the workaround: Selecting only the side edges and the not the middle one will give you the result you want. The collapse is kind of crappy for getting rid of multiple edges/faces at once and leaving even topology. If you're try to collapse something down evenly might be easier to use merge to center or just start…
From reading the limited triva on imdb I'd assume the Brad and family bits are a small portion of the film and the other scene's are seperate events from around the world that he travels to, kinda like how the character in the book interviews survivor's from those events. Marc Forster is directing which may or not be cool…
A continuation of the Sci-Fighters collection that started with the Polycount CS:GO competition, this one leaning more to the late '90s cyberpunk anime style, the Securitech merges the aesthetic with the games overall artstyle, giving the impression of high-vis reflective panels and self-illuminating diodes due to…
Jerc said: I opened up the sbs but it wasn't using the separated row idea, I've seen this trick elsewhere though so I may dig it up. What I did find with this is that they are able to get what is essentially a edge detect from an ambient occlusion node which is interesting, just a shame you lose the luminosity opportunity…
