Could probably stand to lose a few subdivisions here and there (roof-rack bars, maybe upper window surrounds, maybe the surfboard & foam holder thingies but I'm kind of a noob to how that affects your texturing), but it's pretty fucking stellar. Nice job.
I'm back :) I'll start slowly properly publishing some of my personal work. Let's start with these roof tiles. https://www.artstation.com/artwork/a4Xa9 When I get 4-5 of them published I will share all the substances in a pack.
thanks, now that I think would be nice to think more polygons on the roofs I seriously thought about importing it into udk, I'm still researching how to do by the way I really liked your blog:thumbup: excuse my English of again
nice lightning. but maybe you could brake some more of roof so the shadow and light on the floor get a more intresting silluett than squares... a lot more props to! stuff hanging from the celing like terminals and such would be good. peacE!
And here are the first three gouse models. Also created some more materials and color variations and got the vertex painting set up. Not completely satisfied with the roofs yet, they look too bright and a bit flat, maybe increasing the normal intensity will help.
well be my guest then, how about this victorian house: if you want to keep it simple,- dont go to much into detail here,- the roof front e.g could be simplified or somewhat changed. You even have some blueprints on the bottom,- happy modeling
This is awesome! Was looking for my old project: (https://polycount.com/discussion/197974/ue4-wolfenstein-modular-sub-room-bombates-room), and found this one! Killer job on the pipes and the doors! Not the easiest kit to build out!
Hello everyone. I'm a game design student and i'm currently working on my BA project, its been proceeding quite well till now. Most of the sculpting/modelling/texturing is done but a great incognita has shown up recently: animation. And the time is running out, 6weeks to go. I know this might be the wrong place to ask since…
The atmosphere on the shot looks nice, but your roofline is weirding me out. If that is supposed to be piled snow it needs to softer. If that is the actual roof then it needs eaves at least. The large blocky shapes will actually cause water to run back toward the house instead of dripping of the edges.
Tried to put some variety to the roof, the fundament and the brickwall aswell. Next I'll bring in some green plants, the fundament stone and corner bricks. Should start the next project, put way too much effort in this. Thanks for the feedback so far, appreciate it. ---
