So here is a basic blocking) It took me tons of time! I hope the next step will be finished quicker. As I mentioned earlier this character combines animal nature and qualities of warrior and that's what I based the idea of movement cycle on. At the next step I will polish up a few things and add secondary actions B)
The GA website lists a new competition called the "Planetary Challenge", which I'd speculate is A. Environment art related and B. likely to be next on the agenda. Judging by how close together Moviefest, UC and Comicon were, it looks like Fred is trying to keep these big comps going in pretty rapid succession with a month…
been meaning to ask this for a long time. your AO+normal G-B soup layer.. do you take the green and blue channel, and multiply them with the AO? or do you take the green and its inverse as well? what sort of benefits do you get from the extra channels from the normal map
Fixed my issue. The answer was two-fold for me. The first was it won't run correctly from the users\public\ folder. I copied the Quixel folder to my B: drive. Once moved it allowed me to change security permissions for authenticated users to allow everything. between those two fixes, it now works like a champ.
ZBrush's Shadowbox may work. If you load in the B and R as mask alphas you can get it to project the proper topology. Here's a quick sketch I drew out by hand. Took 30 seconds: With a higher resolution and actual alpha usage, the result should be less rounded and much closer to what you are looking for.
I went to install my office copy last week and a.) Couldn't register my key number. It wouldn't accept it. b.) Couldn't get passed the MESSAGE OF THE DAY max script. It wouldn't load that up and thus never load Max (obviously!). I removed it from my PC and gave the box back to the project manager.
cochtl: I understood what you meant, I was just thinking A- you might get more responses if people feel it's for a public cause rather than just for your proposal, and B- the info is probably very interesting to many members on polycount. by the sounds of it you will post what you gather, which is good for people to know :)
The entire time I watched that video I was like a.)Why bother putting her on the air? She's obviously full of it and its no more creditable than, like you said Pak, Springer. b.) She obviously wasn't good at much else than being a bitch, so I guess this is the job for her. Bitch.
Found out I can play with screen settings, so I made my entire screen black and white and did a quick photostudy sketch! (randomly picking colours from my b&w colour wheel) this is the result :D lots of fun to get the big "reveal" at the end. Another one with the same idea!
I avoid using execute if possible, just on principle. There are very few cases where it is strictly necessary. This is how I would do what you are trying:b = for obj in (selection as array) where (matchpattern obj.name pattern:"sphere*") collect obj this collects the stuff in the loop which matches the criteria after the…
