I want to add victorian weapons (either polearm with shotgun, or military saber (mamluk style) with electricity or something like that.... and some weird head armor/gasmask, kinda oversized...
I've been wanting to do something for the workshop for a long time, better late than never! :) First thing I'm going to work on is an armor and weapon set for Faceless Void Concept: I will gladly take feedback and critiques!
Does anyone know how to set up geometry in max to export in set polygroups in zbrush? for example a making an armor plate piece in max and then exporting the piece where the side edges and front/back are a different polygroup. Thanks!
Some Mass Effect fan-art, I like Jondum Bau's armor and try make it. Start learning Zbrush dynamesh , and I like it! Polypaint its just for fun. Next I think make next-gen character from this.
Trying something out... I saw some awesome ottoman prince armor/helmet in Vienna and kind of want to do something in the same vein for team Mason.. this is just a quick WIP screenshot
I know this guy on youtube that goes deep into the subject of medieval armor and weapon here is axemple of shields maybi you can use it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zEsjPQeWmd8
You basically want to attach these swappable meshes to the character's skeleton. Some clipping between character and armor is almost always unavoidable (as you can see in plenty of production titles).
Anyone have good dents and dings brushes they like to share ? Such as shell hits on armor that dont penetrate all the way. Would also be very useful to me as alphas in zbrush.
Good job. Def very dark souls-y. Horns don't look as good as the rest but those shaders are insane, specially compared to the "simple" geo that the armor pieces have.
almost done with retopo of the base mesh and cant wait to get to the sculpting phase. still need to add the small ornaments and model some simple armors around the arms and legs.
