I lost it! My model is gone! My stupid HDD died a couple of days ago and I didn't back it up. So much time was spent for nothing.... well except I got some more experience on modeling, but still.... :( :(:(
Looking good so far. Only crit I have is give some sort of bend/character to the top beam of the roof. Everything else is bend or skewed in some sort of way except for the very top.. which makes it stand out.
Just a quick update. I've been slowly doing bakes for all the parts, except the diorama which I haven't even planned out yet. It'll probably be something minimal. Here's a TB2 grab of the girl. Todo: Hair, eyes.
I'd love to a side-by-side or two of a model that uses colored spec already, alongside the same model with the specmap desaturated but multiplied by a constant color. Same lighting. I bet it's a subtle thing in most cases, except for scarab beetles and the like.
Yea, but those are established studios once again. They have hundreds of thousands of followers that eat up their every word on social media. We're talking about building a fan base from scratch. You've gotta reel em in with something exceptional.
Every rule has an exception, geesh, whats with all this hostility, just trying to converse. I was just saying, that not being able to find SOME way of contacting them shouldn't be an excuse in most cases. There are lots of resources for finding small studios
Now, if only they could mount those Half-Live gun turrets right under the camera we wouldn't even need police or a military any more! I'm sure that would work really well, except for the odd malfunction now and then.
Deadline this sunday. Finished the warhammer and the final 4 poses. Still need to do rendering in UE4 and the documentation. Posing was a bit rushed, except for the first pose that I made. But they are quite more dynamic than what I am used to do :)
Your topology for the face looks good (except for the triangle by the nose), but the sculpt needs some work. Here's a paint over that might help. His face is also very lumpy, for example around the jaw and side of the head, try smoothing that out.
