Reset Xform is likely what fixed it. That's what popped into my head, reading the first post. I've not had any problems in Xnormal using Editable Poly for the low and its cage, either OBJs or FBXs.
Nice! Great work on the textures and materials. The posing is pretty stiff though esp. the girl. Try getting the head involved in the gesture instead of staring straight ahead. Work this good deserves nothing but the best presentation.
