well how else do I explain lighting, it just seems flat and could do with a lot of love. to me lighting makes up like 20% of a scenes visuals. I should have gave a better explanation in my last post eyy. -

Even in live action films there will be staff who go around spraying dust on surfaces to reduce glare or wetting surfaces to make them shinier. It's not realistic but it makes the scene look better. eg: https://parade.com/101364/marilynvossavant/wet-streets-in-movies-20/ -

There is no monthly payment planned for the database at this point. @xChris: There is a small additional cost if you go through the monthly payments ($20 for the Indie version, $40 for the Pro). @Bertmac: Existing owners of all the apps will be "upgraded" to a LIVE account and have access to all the services, yes. -

I use a Geforce 9800gtx and its worked well with everything I've thrown at it, with the exception of UDK where I get 20-30fps if I load up one of the example maps. Its slightly slower then the 260 I believe, so it should be fine. -

Personally I prefer text tutorials, 15-20 images with walls of text explaining the thought process. That's what I learn from most. Or stuff just like phillipk's, show you an image, briefly tell you what he did to achieve it. -

I think it's that way because if one tab crashes, then the other tabs don't go with it. Unlike FF or IE or Opera where if you go to a page that crashes your browser, you can lose all those 20 tabs you have open :) -
