I can't remember being this shocked about a studio closing. It just doesn't make sense. I can understand that MS may be pissed because the market for a 360 RTS is small, and that's what they've been pushing on Ensemble. But, c'mon! The "Age of" games have sold a bazillion copies. Doc rob has it pretty close to what video game bloom does, the other suggestiongs are home brew style bloom that won't simulate what the 360 and ps3 does if that was the goal. I'm not sure how necessary this is for the PS3. I've been using my PS3 for years and I've never really felt that the feature set was lacking. Working in Atari tech support we had to set up exchanges for Thousands of ps2 games. I would be on the phone for hours sometimes several calls over weeks, trying to get people to understand its not the disc. Mario Kart was the reason I bought a DS. Sadly, it had to come out a year later than expected. I've got 4 games for the system, and I'd love to nab this (and Metroid). But coming out with 1-2 games a year (that I like) is a little too sparse for me. I'll probably trade the system in for 360 credit. -

Thanks for the comments guys. I agree with everything you've all said. I'm just getting started and with that, am just reviewing some games that I already own. I'm working on Star Ocean for the 360 now, so that's a little newer. I have posts on lots of forums and most people seem to agree that I discussed the story too…
