Dang it, we have failed you! But yea, that crazy freddie W. WE shall surpass him someday. As for the audio. Yea it was better than our Zangrief video. People loved the effects on that but hated the audio. DANG IT!! Why cant we be STEREOTYPE (admin edit) and get some cash rolling in for equipment.:poly122: But thanks for…
Aw his eyes are so pretty *_* Design is great, hair lost a bit of volume but it still works fine imo. As for the colors maybe try with one color only parts? Like in your B&W concept the shoulders pad and the leg plates don't have a lot of different shades in them, but in your colored version they do and it works less.
Very small hard round brush w/ pen pressure? Make your own by making a series of thin lines with some kind of directionality and make a series of them to get some good looks. Or just google search and see what you like I guess, I don't really use custom brushes except for hair.
yeah, best part about it is the appending of extensions imo, well that and that it is so fast :) I can be working on 3 or 4 textures for something at once, and use the same hotkey to save out every diffuse w/o any fuss of having file names baked into the action. this easily is now one of my "must have for photoshop" tools!
Using dDo 1.8 /w Uncalibrated 8bit I get the correct result if I go from the second colour ID (So only the three colours defined by the preset) to the third with new id's using the re-importer, but I get incorrect results if I start a new project with the third colour ID (with new colours not in the preset).
I liked One and two. But three I thought just had too many gimmicks and ODST was only single player. Reach seems to be like a team based halo game w/o too many gimmicks. The classes seem interesting too. But stuff like bubble shields and duel welding I just didn't like.
Back at uni [self deprecating comment here) I was in the bottom tier ability-wise w my classmates. Some went on to be rock stars. But most, many who were way better than me, have nothing to show for it these days. Talent is a myth. Hard work is only half of it. Passion is god. It guides you across the valley of suck.
It all depends on the stage your at, and what you want critiques on. If you want crits on your modeling, then grey with wires. If you want crits on UV, then UV checker as well as UV Layout. Normals - Grey, w/normals and a light to show it. Not until you get to full textures and lighting would I start throwing AO around.
Ok I am pretty bad at painting texture but here is a old example I did (that I really don't like now but w/e) This may not be the best example but you need to define your materials a little better and normally when hand painting the light I tend to paint the highlights by hand and don't rely on a ao map.
Thanks a lot. Theres a wealth of knowledge in there. I already started my low but i don't really know the ins and outs of what it needs to be, so this'll help out alot. Once i get all of this worked out I'll post the high/low w/ normal to see if its doing what it should be doing. Thanks again!
